About Pike Middle School

Pike Middle School serves families in the central portion of Northwest ISD, where they are part of a close-knit community that strives to ensure the best environment for students.

The school is named after Gene Pike, a former district principal across all levels – elementary school, junior high school, and high school. He later became the director of secondary services and was well known for his sense of humor, as well as his commitment to students.

At Pike, students are encouraged not only to learn but also to have a passion for learning through the school’s various extracurricular opportunities.

Pike is known for its strong community support, with the school’s PTSA earning awards for a strong commitment to a positive atmosphere from parents, students, and staff alike.
