Greetings Panther Families!
As we move closer to the end of the school year, spring fever is definitely setting in. This is a great time to talk with your students and remind them of expectations for behavior while at school.
Throughout the year, we have focused on our core values of being safe, respectful, and responsible. These are not just school expectations—they are values that apply to how students engage in the world around them. When these are reinforced both at school and at home, it leads to greater success for all students.
One area where this is especially important is conflict resolution. Many of our students are still developing the skills needed to handle challenges appropriately, and recently we have seen situations where students have resorted to physical violence instead of working through conflict in a positive way.
We ask that you partner with us in reinforcing with your students that kindness, grace, and mercy—along with being safe, respectful, and responsible—are essential in creating a positive environment for everyone.
That's all for now. Until next time....y'all keep on keepin' on, and always KEEP BELIEVING!!
Mr. D
