It's a great day to be a Panther!

 

 

Monday:

Yearbooks will be distributed tomorrow to students who pre-purchased.

Any remaining copies will go on sale next Monday, May 19th.

 

Tuesday:

Yearbook distribution for pre-purchased orders.

New information

 

Missed ordering a yearbook:

We will have a limited number of extra yearbooks available for purchase!

Here’s how it will work:

  • Students may pick up to ticket to enter a drawing for a chance to purchase a yearbook.
  • Students will only be allowed 1 ticket.
  • We will do the ticket drawing on Monday May 19th to select buyers.
  • If we have 10 yearbooks we will do 10 drawings.
  • Guardians will be contacted if your students ticket is drawn.
  • Payment must be submitted by 4:10 PM on the day of the drawing or another ticket will be drawn.

 

Pike Field day:

  • PTA will be hosting a Pike Field day on Thursday May 22nd.
  • This is in place of our Panther day that we have at the end of each quarter.
  • Students who have been assigned ISS/OSS or DAEP since March 24th will not be allowed to participate.

 

8th Grade Clap out:

  • We will have our annual 8th grade clap out on Friday May 23rd.
  • Parents can sign in to line up inside the building or just wait outside, you choose.
  • Updated times!! We will start the actual walk at 12:00, it should take about 20 minutes total!
  • This will allow the 8th grade families a few minutes to take photos outside and meet up before we release the rest of the school.
  • Make a plan with your 8th grader on where to meet, we don't want anyone left behind!
  • We will have a pre-sign in link to avoid the lines.

 

 

8th grade sit out lunch next Wednesday May 21st:

  • PTA is hosting a come eat with your 8th grader!
  • BYOF- bring your own food or you can buy from the cafeteria.
  • 8th graders will have lunch from 11:39- 12:30.
  • We will have a pre-sign in link to avoid the lines.

 

SmartTag:

  • Next week will will start collecting everyone's SmartTag to keep over the summer.
  • 8th graders will be sent to their new NISD HS.
  • Start looking for those tags now!
