From the looks of the cafeteria and the concession stand the dance was a success! We hope everyone who attended had a good time and we look forward to our next one in February. Thank you parents for allowing your Panthers to stay, they were all on their best behavior.

NHS Sidekicks will be on campus handing out clinic information.
Vision/Screening:
All 7th graders and new to NISD will have their vision/hearing screened.
Students will be called down to the gym alphabetically during the day.

For those of you who are attending or planning to attend UIL athletic events please review the attached Behavior Expectations of Spectators provided by the UIL.
Key highlights:
Be a positive role model at events through your own actions and by censuring those around you whose behavior is unbecoming.
Parents and spectators should be aware that the school can (and should) remove them from the premises and can prohibit them from attending future contests due to undesirable behaviors.

So far our Pike PTA has helped with Wednesday morning duty, created positive message boards throughout the school, running concession stands for volleyball and our fall dance as well as planning a Pike community Fall Fest event in October!
