Wednesday morning spots:
- 2 Wednesday's out of the month our teachers have a PLC meeting from 8:00- 8:45
- Students will have a morning spot to wait during this time:
- 6th red gym
- 7th white gym
- 8th athletic hallway
- You will still be able to get breakfast and take to your morning spot.
Lunch with your Panther:
Pep Rally:
- Next Tuesday we will have our 1st pep rally for 7th and 8th graders.
- Parents are allowed to sign in and join (Space will be tight)
- Scheduled for 2:30- 3:30pm Competition gym.
Picture Day:
- Friday September 15th
- 6th during PE.
- 7th and 8th grader during their Social Studies class.
- You will receive an email a couple of weeks after picture day with information on how to purchase.
Homecoming for NHS:
- Homecoming parade Wednesday Sept. 13th down Texan Drive to the big NISD stadium.
- Texan drive will be closed due to the parade from around 5:00- 6:00.
- Pike students are not allowed to wear/bring mums or garters to school.
IDs
- All students have been given a school ID and are expected to wear every day.
- Starting Tuesday students without their ID will be charged $4 for a new ID.
- PLEASE remind your Panther to bring their ID.
Open House:
- Pike will host our Fall Open House on Thursday Sept. 21st
- Come and go event 5:30- 7:00
- Special presentations over Bullying and Vaping will be offered in the library.
- PTA general meeting at 6:30
Fall Dance:
- Mark your calendar for Friday Sept. 22nd for our first Fall dance!
- Tickets will go on sale Sept. 18th in the office $5. (Fines must be paid)
- Dance will start at 4:30- 6:30 (The early start time allows for our bus riders to be able to join us)
- Students will be allowed to wait after school and store their bags in a location.
- Dress is comfortable and causal.
- PTA will have a concession stand.
- Parents will need to pick up at 6:30 out front of Pike.
- Watch your email for a flyer with all the details.
