- -Suicide Prevention Week
- Last day to sign up for Grandparents breakfast/lunch on Friday.
Wednesday:
- Tennis vs Adams at Eaton HS
Thursday:
- Volleyball 7th home, 8th away vs. Tidwell
Friday:
- Grandparents breakfast 8:00 library. PTA providing donuts/juice
- Grandparents luncheon during all 3 lunches. You will want to bring your own lunch.

Picture Day:
- Mark your calendar for Friday September 13th.
- 6th grade during PE
- 7th grade during ELA
- 8th grade during CCE
- Proofs will be sent afterwards for purchase.
Open House:
- Thursday Sept. 19th 5:30- 7:00
- General PTA meeting at 6:00- cafeteria
- Guest speaker about Suicide Awareness at 6:30- cafeteria
- Open House is a come and go event, you walk your students schedule, check out the rooms, look through their journals, etc.
- Open House is not a parent conference night. If you need to schedule a conference please reach out to your panthers teacher.
Student IDs:
- All students are expected to have their student IDs at school on Tuesday.
- Students have been given a new lanyard sponsored by our awesome PTA.
- IDs act as fast pass, those who have it readily available go through the lunch line first.
- Replacement IDs cost $4 and students will be able to charge only 1, once the fine is paid a new one can be charged.
- Students who do not have an ID will be able to purchase a sun butter and jelly sandwich for lunch.
Campus Core Values:

- Talk your panther about what these values might look and sound like at Pike.
Homecoming:
- To clarify from last week, mums and garters are not allowed to be worn at school or brought to school.
School Dance:
- We will have our first school dance for 6-8th graders on Friday Sept. 27th.
- We will be limiting the available number of tickets for sale to ensure safety for all students.
- We will send a dance flyer with all the specifics next week!
