  • We were able to get the kids in early and used a staggered release for safety.
  • We hope your kids had fun!

  • Examples include: damaging restrooms, disrupting classes, not completing or doing work, and keeping hands and feet to themselves.

PSAT for 8th Graders Only:

  • All 8th graders will be taking the PSAT on October 16th.
  • Students will begin testing at 9:15. Late arrivals will not be allowed to test due to the time restrictions.
  • Heads up: If your student currently receives accommodations, these are NOT allowed on the PSAT. Those requests must have been made in August, through the College Board.
  • Students will also NOT be allowed to wear hats during the test, as per PSAT testing procedures.
  • More information will be sent to 8th grade parents/students.

Drills:

  • We will have our active shooter LOCKDOWN drill in October.
  • This drill is run by the Fort Worth PD, and we take it very seriously.
  • Students who do not follow directions are subject to consequences outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.

How many different drills do we have?

  • Fire Drill – We head outside.
  • Secure – Get inside, lock exterior doors. Threat is OUTSIDE the building.
  • Lockdown – Locks, lights out of sight. Threat is INSIDE the building.
  • Evacuate – Move to the announced location.
