Calendar

Monday:

  • Tennis vs Tidwell at BNHS

 

Tuesday:

  • 8th B football vs Adams at Eaton

 

Wednesday:

  • Cross country at Hillwood
  • Chess practice 4:30- 5:30 library
  • Chess permission slips are available in room 412 and or library.

 

Thursday:

  • Volleyball vs Worthington 7th away, 8th home.
  • Open house 5:30- 7:00. See flyer for presentation information. This is a come an go event, classrooms will be open to visit from 5:30- 7:00.
  • Spirit walk to celebrate fall sports 10:30- 10:50.
  • Super hero spirit day!

 

Friday:

  • College spirit day!

Open House: Flyer attached:

  • Next week Thursday Sept. 19th from 5:30- 7:00. Come and go event!
  • PTA meeting at 6:00 in the cafeteria followed by a Guest speaker about Suicide Awareness.
  • Open house is a time to see your Panthers classroom, journals, work samples etc..
  • If you are concerned or need to talk to a teacher in depth please consider scheduling a parent conference..

 

Dance: Flyer attached

Our first dance of the year will be on Friday, September 27th.

Cost:

Tickets are $5 and will be available for purchase in the office starting September 23rd.

Time:

The dance will take place in the Pike cafeteria from 5:15 PM to 7:30 PM. Students can wait afterschool outside prior to the start of the dance.

Dress:

Casual attire is recommended

 

Chess flyer attached:

  • First practice Wednesday 4:30
  • Permission slips located in room 412 and library.

 

Spirit Walk:

  • We will have our first spirit walk during advisory on Thursday!
  • Parents are able to attend and need to check in starting at 10:00.
  • Walk will recognize all fall sports, cheer, cross country, football, tennis and volleyball.
  • Band will be performing spirt music.

 

Morning tutorials:

  • Teachers provide tutorials in the morning from 8:00- 8:40.
  • Students need to be dropped off in the front, ring the bell and let the office know they are there for tutorials.
  • Students will enter and wait in the library for the teacher to pick them up.
  • Please make sure you have contacted the teacher and set up tutorials prior to dropping off.

 

Restroom vandals:

  • We have had a few students boys/girls decide to toilet paper the restrooms, throw wet toilet paper on the stalls and write on the stalls.
  • This behavior will not be tolerated and students will have consequences as stated in the Student code of Conduct.
  • Please talk with your students about showing respect to the building.
