New information
Cooler weather:
As the weather gets cooler especially in the mornings, the doors do not open until 8:25.
Lockdown drill:
We will be conducting our 1st lockdown drill on Monday Oct. 21st.
We conduct safety drills throughout the school year to ensure our students and staff know how to react in case of an actual emergency.
We wanted to make you aware of this drill specifically, as there will be an increased police presence on campus, including officers working in conjunction with campus staff to help “clear” hallways and classrooms as well as lock and unlock doors.
Please know that no enactment of a shooting or other threat will take place. The lockdown drill will only consist of practicing the steps students and staff would take in response to a potential emergency incident.

New traffic pattern:
We will begin our newest traffic pattern next week.
Cars will still use the back for pick up and drop off using the new completed road.
Parent conference night #2
Wednesday Oct. 23rd teachers will be available for parent conferences by appointment only.
Campus Dedication:
Family and friends are invited to our campus dedication on Monday Oct. 28th at 6pm.
Parents, please talk with your students about appropriate behavior and language at school and on the bus:
Appropriate behavior includes:
Keeping hands and feet to yourself
Getting to class on time
Remaining seated while on the bus
Cleaning up after themselves
Following directions from teachers, staff, and bus drivers
Respecting the personal space and property of others
Appropriate language includes:
Refraining from using cuss or swear words
Not using racial or discriminatory comments or phrases
Speaking kindly and respectfully to peers and staff
Avoiding inappropriate gestures or non-verbal expressions
