New information

It’s hard to believe this is our last week of school—just yesterday it felt like we were welcoming families at Back-to-School Night and touring our beautiful new building. What an incredible year it’s been!

Thank you for the privilege of being a part of your child’s journey, whether it was our first year together or one of many. I’m grateful for your partnership and support.

Pike Field day:

• PTA will be hosting a Pike Field day on Thursday May 22nd.
• This is in place of our Panther day that we have at the end of each quarter.
• Students who have been assigned ISS/OSS or DAEP since March 24th will not be allowed to participate.

Schedule:

• 6th grade 9:00- 10:45 return to 3rd period
• 7th grade 10:53- 12:30 return to lunch
• 8th grade 1:50- 3:30 return to 8th period
• All students will have lunch at their normal times

Dress Code field day

• T-Shirt, shorts, tennis shoes and hats recommended..
• There will be water bucket races as an option, so no see through clothing.  
• Students can bring a towel and change of clothes if they would like. 
• Students must still follow NISD dress code

8th grade sit out lunch next Wednesday May 21st:

• PTA is hosting a come eat with your 8th grader!
• BYOF- bring your own food or you can buy from the cafeteria.
• 8th graders will have lunch from 11:39- 12:30.
• PTA sent a sign up link.

8th Grade Clap out: NEW TIME- 12:00- 12:20

• We will have our annual 8th grade clap out on Friday May 23rd.
• Parents can sign in to line up inside the building or just wait outside, you choose.
• Updated times!! We will start the actual walk at 12:00, it should take about 20 minutes total!
• Make a plan with your 8th grader on where to meet afterwards, it gets a little chaotic!
• We will need the front area cleared by 12:50 to allow room for the bus riders.
