I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend, especially after the freezing temperatures we had last week! It was a nice break from the cold and a great way to recharge for the week ahead.
Chess Club:
I want to congratulate our Chess Club on their outstanding performance this weekend! They placed 2nd in a highly competitive tournament that included both high school and middle school teams. This is an incredible achievement, and we are so proud of their hard work, strategy, and dedication.
Way to go, Panthers! 🏆♟️👏
Apex fundraiser:
During the Apex Games fundraiser, students will be challenged to get donations from family and friends to help our school. We’ll end the 2-week fundraiser with a celebratory event called Apex Games for students who participate in the fundraiser (think lots of games, fun raffle prizes, snacks, loud music, high energy, and FUN!) And WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Volunteers:
We are always looking for volunteers to help with car drop off and pick up and lunch duty.
Tryouts are coming up soon! Tryouts are open to any current 5th-7th grade students in the NHS feeder pattern. Tryouts will take place on April 28th, 29th, and 30th at Northwest High School. This team performs at NHS varsity football games, the NHS homecoming parade and pep rally, and even competes in the spring!
