Schedule changes:
In our continuous effort to provide the best academic opportunities for our students, we will be opening new sections of classes starting this Monday.
This change will help ensure that all students receive the personalized attention and resources they need to succeed.
If your child's schedule is affected by these changes, you will be notified before Monday.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we make these adjustments to better serve our students.
MAP testing:
We will be beginning of the year MAP testing next week.
All students will need a charged Chromebook.
Data from MAP allows teachers to plan instruction based upon student needs.
Students can receive additional support in specific areas as identified by MAP.
Parents and students will receive copies of MAP data.
Pick up and walkers:
Reminder the parking lots are a great tool.
Walkers need to be remember to cross at crosswalks and NOT load on Texan.
Homecoming information:
NHS homecoming game is Friday Sept. 13th.
Students do not need to bring or wear mums or garters to school.
Homecoming parade is sponsored by NHS on Wednesday September 11th.
Please note that all floats are entered by parent volunteers, Pike campus does not enter floats.
Lost and found:
We have two carts in the lunchroom designated for lost and found items. They’re already filling up with water bottles, lunch boxes, shoes, and hoodies. Please remind your Panther to check the carts and only take items that belong to them.
Ids:
We're working as quickly as possible to print student IDs and SmartTags, and our goal is to have them completed by next Thursday. If students have one from last year, that will work too!
Labor Day:
Our entrance will be changing after Labor day.
A new map will be posted when it is available.
Lunches with students:
We will begin sending the sign up Sept. 2nd.
It will be limited to 25 guest per lunch.
