Pike 1st Day Updates
The much anticipated first day has come and go and it was a great day!  We know there are things we need to improve and remember there are things out of our control, but thank you for all your support!  We hope your Panther had an amazing day.
 
  • Tomorrow when your panther comes to school, 6th and 7th graders will hang out in the cafeteria and 8th graders in the athletic hallway. Students will remain in these morning spots until 8:40 then head to 1st period.
  • We have large boxes for paper towels and Kleenex by the front office and in the cafeteria.  
Facebook: Drop off and pick up:
  • Thank you for your patience as we worked through drop off and pick up today.
  • A few changes:
    • We will have 2 drop off and pick up lines right in front of the building. 
    • We are only loading and unloading in this area, it helps with traffic.
    • Please do not ask your panther to meet you on Texan this holds up traffic.
    • We are also not going to have students walk up the drive towards the football field, they will need to wait in the shade in front of the building.  
Breakfast/Lunches:
  • ALL students were given the opportunity to eat today with or without an ID.
  • Several announcements in each lunch were made to remind students to eat.
  • We extended lunch in ensure students had time to eat, the lines were longer than normal today.
Thursday:
  • Have your panther bring their schedule back on Thursday or have them write it down in their journals.
  • IF they need a new copy, you can send them to the office.
IDs:
  • We are working hard to get IDs out to everyone.
  • Please have your panther put their ID on a lanyard for safe keeping!
  • IDs make the lunch line go way faster.
