Panther Family Tidbits (Sunday Afternoon Scaled Down Edition)
Howdy Panther Families!
I hope you had a great weekend! We’ve got another busy week ahead at Pike Middle, wrapping up with a half day on Friday. Wednesday marks our final round of Parent/Teacher Conferences, and I’ve really enjoyed hearing about all the positive conversations taking place over the past couple of weeks. While we set aside specific nights to connect, our partnership truly continues all year long!
This past week, we began assigning detentions for students who forgot their ID for a second time. Just a quick reminder—students are expected to wear their ID at all times while in the building. Overall, we’ve made great progress, but we still have about 40–50 students each day who forget. We understand that sometimes things happen beyond a student’s control, and we always take that into account. I truly appreciate those of you I’ve already reached out to about a detention—thank you for your understanding and support. The good news is, for most students, one detention is all it takes!

10/6 - Pike Tennis
Pike v. Wilson @ Northwest HS at 4:30
10/7 - Dress Like Adam Sandler Day
10/7 - Pike Choir Concert - 6:00PM in the cafeteria (if you’re a choir parent you’ll have more details from the choir directors)
10/7 - Pike Football
8th Grade v. Dawson @ NHS Sub-Varsity Stadium
7th Grade v. Dawson @ Dawson Middle School
5:00 PM - B Team, with A Team starting immediately after the conclusion of B Team
10/8 - Pike Cross Country
Zone Meet (Home)
Meet begins at 5:00 PM in this order....8th Grade Boys / 8th Grade Girls / 7th Grade Boys / 7th Grade Girls
10/8 - Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:45 - 7:45
10/9 - Pike Volleyball
8th Grade v. Adams @ Adams Middle School
7th Grade v. Adams (Home)
C Team starts at 5:00 PM, followed by B-Team, then A-Team. Estimated time for B is 6:00 PM, and A is 7:00 PM, but that could vary depending on the previous games.
10/10 - Half Day - Dismiss at 12:55
