Dear Panthers,
I hope everyone was able to stay warm this week, it looks like the cooler weather will be sticking around a little longer. Please remember students are asked to wait in cars prior to the front doors opening at 8:20. Let's have another great week Panthers!
Generation TX week:
- This week we will focus on higher education awareness and help our students set goals to prepare for life after high school. Join in the fun and represent your college colors!
- Monday: Wear green (UNT, Baylor, Adams state...)
- Tuesday: Wear purple ( Tarleton, SFA, TCU...)
- Wednesday: Wear maroon/red ( AT&M, OU, TWU, Harvard....)
- Thursday: Wear orange/yellow ( UT, OSU, Clemson....)
- Friday: Wear red/white/blue or CAMO supporting military( Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines...)
8th PSAT:
- All 8th graders will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday.
- Please make sure to bring your NISD Chromebook charged on Wednesday.
Talent Show:
- We are excited to host our second Pike's Got Talent show .
- Each grade will watch during a different period:
- 8th- 2nd period
- 7th- 5th period
- 6th- 7th period
- Students will not be pulled out during the Talent show to ensure our performers are not interrupted.
