8th ONLY Dance:

  • 8th grade Semi- Formal is this Friday from 6- 8 pm Pike Gym
  • Tickets are on sale this week for $5 in the office.
    • Make sure your ID Fines are taken care of first!
    • You will need your ID to get it!

Yearbooks:

  • Students who pre-purchased a yearbook will receive theirs today.
  • We will have a few extras for sale starting Thursday May 18th at 8:20 in the main office.
    • Cost is $40
    • This will be first come first serve.

Library Materials:

  • If you have not already, please make sure to return all library materials this week.
  • The spring book fair runs through Friday

Fines:

  • We need to have all fines taken care of this week.
  • Fines will follow you to high school and affect graduation status.

Dress code reminder:

  • Blankets, pillows, house shoes and robes are not school appropriate.
  • Please continue to monitor the length of your shorts and mid drift tops, we are seeing a little too much.

 

8th Grade Clap Out:

  • On Friday May 26th we will have our annual 8th grade clap out ceremony.
    • This event will start at 12:40 with our 8th graders making one trip through the halls of Pike.
    • Parents are welcome to join, and we will have you line the inside of the main hallway out to the north sidewalk.
      • Balloons, noise makers, confetti need to be left outside.
      • Parents, you will need to check in the main office if you want to be inside the building, otherwise you can line up on the sidewalk.
      • Check in will begin at 12:10 until 12:40. We will stop checking in at 12:40 and ask that you line the outside sidewalk.
      • Please have a meeting place with your Panthers as it gets a little chaotic during this time.
