Hard to believe Panthers we only have 6 weeks of school left, lets finish strong!  Continue to make good choices, be kind to others and work hard every day.  

Morning Routine:

  • Friendly reminder when students enter the building at 8:20 we expect them to head to 1st period and begin working on Imagine Math and/or work for class.
    • If you need breakfast you head to the cafeteria first.


Spring Pictures this Tuesday April 18th:

  • Students will be taken during Science class to have their Spring picture taken.
  • You are not required to purchase
  • You will be sent a link with ordering instructions after the pictures are complete.

Awards Ceremony:

  • Last week several of our Panthers received an invitation to the Pike End of Year Award ceremony to be hosted at Pike:
  •   Monday April 24th
    • 6th/7th 5:30- 6:30pm (Doors will open at 5:15)
    • 8th 7:00- 8:00pm (Doors will open at 6:45)
  • These are content/athletic and fine arts awards that teachers have selected.
  • We will not be recognizing A honor roll we do this each quarter or perfect attendance.

Attendance:

  • Please remember that parent/doctor notes need to be turned in within 3 days, not weeks or months of the absence.  

ID's

  • As a reminder the cafeteria will no longer accept sticker ID's.
  • Please talk with your panther about how they can remember to bring and wear their ID daily.
  • We have some students who purchase/charge a new ID every day!

Social Media:

  • Please watch/monitor your panthers social media accounts for inappropriate posts/text and messages.


Pike Fest is a month away:

  • Pike will hold a Pike Fest, mini field day, on Monday May 22nd.
  • In order to participate 
    • Students will need to make sure they have paid their ID fines by May 19th.
    • Have no more than 2 level 2/3 discipline referrals starting Monday April 16th- May 22nd 
  • Payments can be made online or in the office.

Upcoming 8th Grade information:

  • 8th Grade ONLY semi-formal dance on Friday May 19th 6-8pm Pike Gym
    • This is for PIKE students only
  • 8th grade clap out will be held on the last day of school
    • Parents and families will be invited to join.
    • More information will be coming on these 2 events.
