Dear Pike Parents and Caregivers,  

Thank you to all the parents and students for showering our teachers with treats, notes and kind words for teacher appreciation week, our teachers truly felt loved and supported.   We had our first/last dance this week and it was a huge success.  Thank you, parents, for letting your panther attend, I believe everyone had a great time, lots of laughing, smiling and dancing!   


  • Per Jostens our yearbooks are expected to be in the last week of school.
  • Our yearbook class will get these passed out to students during a designated content area.
  • If you are not sure if you ordered a yearbook please email 
    • If you need to purchase we will have a limited number of 30 for sale! 

8th clap out

  • We will continue our tradition of having a Clap Out, one final walk of the building for our 8th grade class.
  • This will take place on the last day of school, which is no longer a ½ day but a regular dismissal time of 4:13.
    • More details will be sent out for parents who would like to attend.

Awards Assembly 

  • We will be conducting an in school awards assembly  per grade level the last day of school to honor students who received:
    • A honor roll
    • A/B honor roll
    • Perfect attendance
    • PTA reflection awards/Service awards
  • Parents are invited to attend.  
    • Details will be emailed out at a later time.

  • If you are interested in helping volunteer at Pike please give us a call or email,
    • We can also use extra hands during morning drop off duty!

Bowties/Ties Program 

  • Our first Bowties and Ties event was a success and we are looking forward to our second meeting on Friday the 13th; 8:00- 8:40 in the library.
  • We will have a short character lesson and then work on our tying skills.

Inappropriate Language:

  • Please continue to remind your Panthers of how you expect them to behave and act at school.  
  • Joking or not, inappropriate language will not be tolerated. 
  • Per Student Code of Conduct students will be subject to consequences for the following: 
    • Using inappropriate, profane, vulgar or obscene language/actions/gestures/pictures/symbols/sounds(verbal or written)
    • Using ethnic, racial, or gender-
    • related slurs or committing inappropriate acts toward racial/ethnic person/group.
