Circle Player

The Circle Maker

by Mark Batterson

“Think of Scripture as God’s part of the script; prayer is our part.  Scripture is God’s way of initiating a conversation; prayer is our response.  The Bible wasn’t meant to be read through; the Bible was meant to be prayed through.  Reading is the way you get through the Bible; prayer is the way you get the Bible through you.  As you pray, the Holy Spirit will quicken certain promises to your spirit.  The promises of God will become your promises.  Then you need to circle those promises, both figuratively and literally.”

God’s Power:

Num. 11:23  “Is there a limit to my power?”  “Is the Lord’s arm too short?”

Jer. 1:12   “The Lord is watching over His word.”

2 Cor. 6:2  “Now is the time of God’s favor.”

Is. 55:11   “My word does not return void.”

2 Cor. 1:20  “For everyone of God’s promises are “yes” in Him.”

Joshua 1:3  “I am giving you every square inch.”
