Mrs. HughesSuzanne Hughes, Choir Director
Mrs. Hughes is beginning her 10th year as Head Choral Director at Gene Pike Middle School and her 30th year of teaching. Mrs. Hughes has been accompanying choirs since she was in the 7
th grade. She attended Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree with a major in Piano. Mrs. Hughes also pursued graduate studies with Charles Eason at West Texas A & M University in Canyon Texas and Lanelle Blanton at Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. 

Mrs. Hughes is in frequent demand as a judge and clinician in the state of Texas. Mrs. Hughes has earned numerous Choir Sweepstakes, Best in Class and Outstanding Performances in her career and is very excited about this next year at Pike.

Tyler Adcock, Assistant Choir Director
Mr. Adcock is beginning his 3rd year at Gene Pike MS and his 5th year of teaching.  Mr. Adcock is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Music.  He continues to be an avid TCU sports fan.  Mr. Adcock continues his own vocal career with membership in the Arlington Master Chorale.

Mr. Adcock was recently married and his wife is also a music teacher in Arlington ISD.  He was raised in Arkansas and graduated from historic Central High School in Little Rock, AR.
