Pike Family Fall Fest 10/26/18

Happy Friday Panthers,

Our 5th annual Pike Family is this coming Friday, October 26th from 5:30-7:30. It is a great family event which includes costume competitions, trick or treating in the hallways, booths and fun games for the kids, and our springbook fair in the library. Our PTSA is sponsoring the event and will be providing free hot dogs for everyone that attends. All games are sponsored by our students and are free to everyone to play. The Pike Family Fall Fest isa community event and not a fund raiser. To make this event happen we are hosting a candy drive to bring in candy for our games and our booths. The candy drive is a competition between grade level 2nd period classes. The class in each grade level that brings in the most candy will win an ice cream party for their class. Please help support our Pike Family Fest and donate candy to this event.I hope that everyone can make it on the 26th.

We are officially halfway through the second grading period and student progress reports will be view-able on the Home Access Center (HAC) Monday afternoon. Please review your child's grades with them on Monday and set goals with them on what they need to do academically in each class.

School Picture retakes will be Wednesday, October 24th.

Next week is our DrugFree Red Ribbon Week. Here is a list of the themes for each day:

  • Monday - Career Day
    • Find a career - Don't do drugs!
  • Tuesday - Crazy Sock day or wear sunglasses
    • Shade out the crazy of drugs!
  • Wednesday - 80's Day
    • Back to the Future - No Future with drugs!
  • Thursday - Pink Out
    • Wear pink to support Girl's Volleyball and Don't Do Drugs!
  • Friday - Super-Hero Day
    • Have the POWER to say NO!

Have a great weekend and continue to Be The Difference in your child's life.
